We’re throwing the ultimate 80’s theme party!
Be taken back in a time warp and revisit the best of the 80’s at this iconic Adelaide pub. Prepare yourself for 80’s theme cocktails, $9 house made Cruisers and 80’s theme food specials. As well as DJ Stixx playing the best of the 80’s tracks from 8:30pm, so forget about bringing your Walkman!
Furthermore, join in on the fun and dress up in your best 80’s theme clothes. Think; legwarmers, puffy shoulders, bold colours, jelly shoes, scrunchies and so much more.
Come in early for lunch and enjoy something from our extensive menu, or make the most of happy hour from 2-6pm. Alternatively, relax out on the roof top bar whilst sipping on $22 cocktail jugs. Or build your own gin fizz cocktail for $12. A great way to prepare yourself for the moon walking and running man dancing you’ll be doing later on in the night.

The History of Arts and Culture in the 1980’s
During the eighties TV programmes became hugely popular. Miami Vice, Dynasty and Dallas were watched by millions of people and the classic eighties big hair styles and shoulder pads were copied and idolized. Blockbuster films were starting to be more prevalent with E.T, Back to the Future and Indiana Jones becoming cult classics. Music had a huge influence on fashion. With the rise of solo acts compared to the seventies groups, Prince was introduced with a new style of music and fashion. Michael Jackson left the Jackson 5 and created an iconic style while at the same time Madonna was becoming a huge fashion icon. All of these icons were known for their different fashion styles, as much as they were known for their music. They had begun to influence the younger generation on a global scale. – read more here.
